I founded FIND in January 2005, with Maria Brito de Goes.
The will to ally legal expertise with the human resources area and to participate in the setting up of a project which could, with originality and reliability, contribute towards greater professionalization of the legal market in Portugal, were determinant factors for my decision to stop practising as a lawyer.
With a degree in Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (1986-1991), I began my professional activity in September 1991 at the law firm that gave rise to the law firm now known as “Morais Leitão, Galvão Teles, Soares da Silva & Associados” (MLGTS).
In April 1995 I took the position of Director of the Legal Department of “PGA – Portugália Airlines”, maintaining such functions until September 2004.
During almost a decade, I lived up to the challenge made to me – to be able to continue working as a Lawyer, but to carry out my activity within a company.
Being demanding, with a lot of availability and extremely thorough, are what I consider form the basis of the profession of a lawyer and are what I make a point of being with the responsibilities I take on, be they professional or personal.
I am married and mother of Pedro, Joana and Tomás!
I support Belenenses Football team, I love cherries, good weather and travelling.
I hate smoked salmon and the cold.
I also dislike traffic, but sometimes I act like I’m a taxi driver.
