These days, there is a growing concern on the part of Portuguese institutions of higher education about the future of their students. They focus not only on result orientation and how demanding the work is but also on updating syllabuses and especially on more and more partnerships with other institutions and companies so that students can be prepared to join the employment market.
In its close collaboration with the country's main law faculties in its five years of existence, FIND went to the Fourth Employment Week - Paths to Employability at Porto University Law Faculty to bring its final-year students and graduates closer to the reality of the job market.
During the event, we came into direct contact with the students, so that they were able to obtain in-depth information about job prospects and career alternatives. A number of issues were addressed, such as employers' position on the Bologna Process, different types of vocational internships and the employability of recent law graduates in the business world.
Every year, FIND is contacted by many students and places them not only with law firms but also at companies and public institutions in a successful bid to find value for both parties.
